Bill Simmons NFL Picks Week 8: We are approaching the end of October and Bill has still not recorded a winning week with his NFL picks. Last week’s 2-4-0 (-$2200) performance marked the seventh straight losing week to start the 2016-17 football season. That’s something.
To be fair Bill’s season long betting record is not that bad. Despite not having a winning week he has gone 21-30-1 for a net loss of -$11,500 (-11.5 units). If you listened to Monday’s podcast with Cousin Sal you might have noticed Bill make two (seemingly accidental) references to thousand-dollar bets. Might be a decent indication that our unit size estimate is close to the real value.
